Geeze Louise! I am talking an online Photography Class and each day we have an assignment (big surprise there eh?). Today our assignment is PORTRAITS. Normally, I LOVE portraits. Love them to pieces but, today I did not have a happy camper. She didn't like the sun. *sigh* I really have no clue how to set my F stops, ISO, white balance (but that is what we are learning) plus, I have a lack of imagination for editing. Any suggestions are greatly welcome!! So - that makes for a hard assignment.

I thought I would be cool and also post a shot for Natalie's Shoot & Tell challenge. *rolls eyes* that went over about like a lead balloon.

Oh and I ended up using THIS shot for my portrait shot in my class.

Just playing with editing. See I am not that great.

See how happy she was. *sigh*

And this is the photo I will use for the "LOOKING UP" (or sideways in my case) :P Challenge.

Hello there! I too am taking the class and I swear when I have an assignment I am not happy with any of the shots I get. Yours look wonderful! I love the color and the effects from the sun! Good job!

Shari your first photo is still the one I prefer. No distraction or sun spots. You did will. You say ISO, f/stop, WB and Shutters are still getting you down, Why? Drop me a line and lets clear this up. Ü

These photos are great! Even if your daughter wasn't being the happiest subject ever, they still came out amazing! I really need to work on my skill level as well. Would you mind sharing some of the details about the class you are involved in. I would love to join something like that!

I love how annoyed she looks in the second to last one. So not Hannah's usual style and it makes me laugh.
