O-O-Orange

Orange ya glad you stopped by? *snort* since this week the challenge at Live Every Moment is ORANGE the title cracked me up. hehehe

I thought and thought and thought about what to do for this challenge. Yesterday, I decided to use a real orange and orange juice. I had collected some oranges that I got from work. If you get a healthy choice meal you get a free fruit so I had be saving my oranges to work with, except someone in my household LOVES oranges - to eat! *looks over at the 6 year old* lucky for me she left 2.

Finally I decided on a few things to do with the oranges - but - nothing that I thought would grand. Actually, I was not thrilled with my editing. I don't know anything about editing really. I really need a PSE program to use. *Suggestions? Anyone? What one to get? I have CS5 on my computer but it wont take the serial number. Boo! Right as soon as I figure out how to delete all of it from my MAC it is gone.

So - beware - Here are MANY many orange photos (with editing problems).

This was one of my hair brained ideas.
Orange 7

Oh and I forgot to say I had major focusing issues. I was using my 50mm f1.8. I used the manual focus and blur. I ended up using AUTO on some of these shots. Shame on me.
Orange 5

And I also wonder if I over edit photos sometimes. I think the SOOC is way better than this.

Then I wonder if I need my eyes checked and new glasses. This is just - a bad edit job.
Orange 3

Sooo - I thought I may get a bit creative and then I tried this.
Orange 2
but I do think the angle is all off. It could because it kept falling. Oy!

I thought that maybe a texture would work. Yeah, it didn't. See I need PSE so I can properly do layers and textures.

I was so running outta ideas. So this one is a messing around shot!

Soooo - that made this photo the choice for the ORANGE Challenge.

Head on over and check out everyone else's Orange interpretations. I promise - it will be worth the click.

Actually I love the first one as well as your final which is very unique!
Would love to see the last one with the texture you used earlier.

LOL I would have been so frustrated there would have been orange on the walls by the end of the photo session...no joke. Sheri of little patience.

Love your final shot though!
